The Neosho tennis team dropped a pair of matches on Thursday as they fell to Republic 8-1 in a Central Ozark Conference Large Division showdown, and to Ozark’s B team 5-4.
In their first match Neosho’s Jace Hendricks was the lone winner for the Wildcats as he defeated Gabriel Banfield in a tiebreaker 7-6 (7-5) at No. 6 singles.

Doubles — Cox-Bailey lost to Nancy-Hyde 6-4, Parks-Hopper lost to Elivo-Banfield 6-3, Langley-Hendricks lost to Hendricks-Harris 6-0.
Neosho narrowly pulled out its first victory of the season against Ozark B in their second duel of the day.
Singles — Cox lost to Chase Pitchford 6-3. Bailey lost to Tanner Furtkamp 6-3. Parks lost to Bailey Longley 6-3. Hopper defeated Chandler Salsman 6-3. Langley defeated Connor Johnson 6-4. Hendricks defeated Jacob Johnson 6-2.
Doubles — Cox-Bailey lost to Furtcamp-Longley 7-5. Parks-Hopper lost to PItchford-Salsman 6-1. Langley-Hendricks defeated Connor Johnson-Jacob Johnson 6-4.
