Jack H. Davison, 75, Neosho, died April 27, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, following a sudden illness.
Jack was born April 7, 1938, in Granby, the son of Lee Roy and Charlotte (Amberg) Davison. He served in the U.S. Navy 1957 through 1965 and was a disabled veteran. He was a lifelong area resident, a member of the VFW, DAV and the Church of the Nazarene in Neosho.
Jack married Evelyn Durham on June 8, 1956, at Granby and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Jackie Davison and Terry Davison, both of Neosho; two brothers, Charles Davison, Idaho, and Gene Davison, Neosho; and six sisters, Mae Oehring, Jefferson City, Pearl McCleary, Neosho, Virginia Akehurst, Granby, Agnes Davis, Ada, Okla., Wilma Madewell, Ft. Smith, Ark., and Jeanette Burgess, Neosho; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Davison, his parents, a brother, Bill Davison, infant sister, Kathleen Davison and sister, Pauline Darity.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Church of the Nazarene in Neosho, James Keezer and James Martin will officiate. Interment will be in the Neosho Memorial Park Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Gene Davison, Steve Akehurst, James Martin, Gary Bond, Gary Bond, Jr., Jason Bond, Clinton Bond and David Lee Akehurst.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho where the family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m.
