The Neosho tennis team had a tough draw on Monday, facing a tough and experienced Thomas Jefferson squad.

The Cavaliers used that experience to their advantage and won the showdown 9-0 at Thomas Jefferson High School.

At singles Neosho’s Jordan Cox lost to Frank Cascone 8-3. Tucker Bailey lost to Preston Carpenter 8-0. Jackson Parks lost to John Burnett 8-2. Trenton Hopper lost to Michael Joseph 8-1. Cameron Langley lost to Joseph Scott 8-2. Jace Hendricks lost to Levi Vasquez 8-1.

At doubles Cox-Bailey lost to Cascone-Carpenter 8-2. Parks-Hopper lost to Burnett-Scott 8-0. Langley-Hendricks lost to Joseph-Vasquez 8-1.

At junior varsity doubles for Neosho Nathan Scribner-Paul Sanders defeated Farnham-Hershewe 6-1. Sebastian Henderson-Ben Bridges lost to Burns-Suri 6-1.

Neosho (0-9) is at the Central Ozark Conference Tournament in Branson on Wednesday.
