Neosho native and current Pittsburg State University senior softball player Kreslee Ketcham has been selected for the second time this season as MIAA Hitter of the Week.
The 5’9 first baseman hit a robust .778 for the week and led the team with six runs scored and six RBIs. Ketcham’s 1.556 slugging percentage for the week was helped by a pair of home runs, a double and no strikeouts in four games with three walks.
Ketcham did a great deal of her damage in a pair of 3 for 3 performances — once against Southwest Baptist and another versus Central Missouri — with three RBI in each game.
Other nominees were: Bianca Adams, Fort Hays State; Chloe Brown, Missouri Southern; Kylie Cantrell, Northwest Missouri; Kacie Edwards, Central Oklahoma; Keri Lorbert, Missouri Western; Katie Ruwe, Nebraska-Kearney.
