The Neosho boys and girls eighth grade track and field teams set new records and had nine individual medalists at the Tri-County Conference Meet at Junge Stadium in Joplin on Thursday.

The Neosho boys and girls eighth grade track and field teams set new records and had nine individual medalists at the Tri-County Conference Meet at Junge Stadium in Joplin on Thursday.

Payton Klier broke the eighth grade record in the 400 meter dash with a time of 56.3 seconds, while the 4x100 relay team of Klier, Nathan Lewis, Bryce Murphy and Darren Hawkins also set a new high-mark with a time of 47.8.

100 hurdles — 2. Kyle Goff.
400 dash — 1. Klier.
200 dash — 3. Goff.
High jump — 3. Hawkins.
Long jump — 3. Goff.
4x200 relay — 2. Jon Moser, Lewis, Hawkins, Goff.
