On April 28, 2013, Al Shaw, 97, Tulsa, Okla., long time resident of Neosho and McAllen, Texas, went home to glory.
He will be missed by family and friends.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 11 at Harvest Church, 1814 S. Main St, Broken Arrow, Okla.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth, of 73 years of marriage; two daughters, Karen Simmons and Lois McDonald, Tulsa; a son, Alvin Shaw II, Neosho; brother, Eldred Shaw; seven grandkids; 23 great-grandkids; and two great-great-grandkids and three on the way.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Eldon Shaw; and a sister, Lois Moon.
Mr. Shaw was in the 23rd Bombardment Squadron at Luke Field and Hickham Field, Hawaii from 1937 to 1940. Then worked for North American Aviation & Space Division for 29 1/2 years in California and Neosho.
