  • Mary Lou McCullar, 69, Granby, died May 28, 2013, at Granby House, following a three-week illness.
    Mary was born July 13, 1943 in Modesto, Calif., the daughter of Dave H. and Garnett T. (Hollan) Miller. She moved to Missouri at the age of 18 and had worked as a restaurant cook and private childcare provider. She loved kids and family and was very generous, always willing to help others.
    Mary married Tommy McCullar on Jan. 1, 1993, and he preceded her in death in 1997.
    She is survived by a son, Paul Ferguson and wife, Katrina, Granby; three grandchildren, John Paul Ferguson, Jr., Matthew Wyatt Ferguson and Christian Waine Mitchell; six brothers, Leon Miller, Colony, Okla., Tommy Miller, Carthage, J. D. Miller, Panama, Okla., Gus Miller, Ponca City, Okla., Mike Miller, Hydro, Okla., and John Miller, Gafney, S.C.; and two sisters, Sue Jordan, Granby and Margo Lewis, Grove, Okla.
    In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lavonne; and three brothers, Melvin, Don and Danny Mark Miller.
    Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel in Granby, Keith Brumfield, minister will officiate. Following the service, the family will receive friends until 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
    Cremation arrangements are under the directions of Clark Funeral Home Neosho.
