Penny Ann (Parbst) Marble, 54, Oklahoma City, Okla., passed away from this life to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 18, 2013.
She was born to Otto and Frances Parbst on April 14, 1959, in Denver, Colo., and graduated from East Newton High School in 1977.
She and Michael D. Marble were married on Sept. 3, 1977, at the Stella Methodist Church, Stella.
Penny is survived by her husband, Mike; a son, Christopher Marble and wife, Vivian, Edmond, Okla.; a daughter, Tiffany Khodabakhsh and husband, Kodi, Moore, Okla.; two sisters, Judy, Jenks, Okla., Sandy, Neosho; and two brothers, Terry, Corpus Christi, Texas, Terry state of Michigan; as well as several nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
Penny worked at the Stillwater Medical Center and studied in the nurse assistance program. While living in Tulsa, she worked in the cardiac and dialysis units at Saint Francis Hospital and upon moving to Oklahoma City, she worked in the ICU unit at Baptist Medical Center. She graduated from Southern Nazarene University, cum laude in 2001, with a bachelor's degree in psychology. In 1998, she went to work for Bank of America. At the time of her death, she had served the bank as a teller and branch manager.
Penny was a member of LifeChurch in Oklahoma City, where a celebration of her life was held on May 23, 2013.
