A 14-year-old boy who went missing Thursday afternoon from the area of Neosho High School was found safe and sound early Friday morning at a local convenience store.

Police found Tyler Peacher, 14, safe and sound at 2 a.m. Friday at the Kum and Go on Missouri Highway 59 near Kodiak Road.

At about 2 p.m. Thursday, the youth walked away from the high school area.

Peacher reportedly suffers from Asperger syndrome, a form of autism.

This is at least the second time the youth walked away from Neosho High School in recent months, In November, he walked away from the school and was discovered about seven hours later at a convenience store on East McKinney.
