A four-car crash Sunday afternoon resulted in serious injuries for a Seneca man.
Donald W. Morris, 74, was taken to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin for treatment.
The accident occurred on Missouri Highway 86, one mile west of Neosho, around 12:25 p.m.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol crash report, James B. Brockman, 17 of Neosho, was traveling westbound on Highway 86 in a 1987 Nissan truck when his vehicle struck the back of a 2012 Ford F150, driven by Randy L. Stephens, 55 of Neosho. The Ford truck was stopped in traffic, and after being struck from behind, hit a 2003 Volkswagon Jetta, which was also stopped in traffic.
The Jetta, driven by Jonathan C. Ross, 40, of Neosho, then crossed the center line and struck Morris’ eastbound 1996 Ford truck head on.
Brockman suffered minor injuries in the crash, while Stephens and Ross were not injured.

A Neosho woman suffered minor injuries in a single car crash that occurred Monday evening south of Joplin.
Karen I. Hahn, 40, was traveling southbound on Coyote Drive, one mile south of Joplin, when her 2001 Dodge Durango exited the roadway and struck a ditch.
Hahn was taken by ambulance to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.
