Anthony J. ‘Tony’ Roller, Sr., 76, Neosho, passed away at 6:49 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013, at his home after an illness.

Tony was born May 12, 1937, in Hickory Township, Penn., to the late Joseph Roller and Margaret Toth Roller and had lived in Neosho since 1978.  

He worked as a tool and dye maker all of his working life. He had also worked at Talbot Wire in Neosho.

Tony was a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to hunt and fish.

He married Letha Comer on March 12, 1957, in Miami, Okla. She survives at the home.

Additional survivors include his children, Theresa Beckner, Neosho, Anthony ‘Tony’ Roller, Jr. and his wife, Jan, of the state of Florida, Tim Roller and his wife, Brenda, Neosho, Tom Roller and his wife, Diana, Neosho, Tammy Stark and her husband, Marty, Neosho, Ted Roller and his wife, Tammy, Neosho; one sister, Patty Popovitch and her husband, George, of the state of Pennsylvania; 17 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and several extended family members.

In addition to his parents, Tony was also preceded in death by two sisters, Theresa and Rosalee; two brothers, John and Joe; and a grandson, Chad Roller.

Memorial services are planned for 11 a.m. Monday at Fellowship Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the services at the church.
