Neosho firefighters and mutual aid from Redings Mill responded to singlewide mobile home fire Monday night.
Firefighters were called out to the blaze, located at 12720 Kelly Ln., Neosho, shortly before 11 p.m.
"The heaviest fire was found in the center portion of the home," said Mike Eads, fire chief. "There was one occupant (Megan Boyer) who was not hurt, they got out. It sounds like it was a total loss. Red Cross was notified."
The cause of the fire is still undetermined.
"The cause of the fire is under investigation by the state fire marshal, they called him in to do the initial," said Eads. "He has ruled it undetermined and under investigation. By calling in the fire marshal, it gives us a fresh set of eyes. If we can't rule anything, we call them in to help with it."
Eads estimated the damage at $15,000: $10,000 for the value of the mobile home and $5,000 on the contents.
