  • Melissa C. Adams, 18 of Granby, suffered minor injuries in a dirt bike accident Sunday evening.
    Adams was traveling eastbound on Pasadena Lane, five miles east of Diamond, when she lost control of the 2012 Kawasaki dirt bike she was driving and struck a parked vehicle.
    Adams was taken by ambulance to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.

    A two-vehicle crash north of Seneca sent one Joplin man to the hospital with minor injuries on Sunday.
    Shane W. Conlee, 21, was injured when a vehicle attempted to make a left turn in front of the vehicle he was a passenger in, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol crash report.
    Conlee was riding in a 1995 Nissan car, driven by Tiffanie Carel, 18 of Joplin, headed northbound on Missouri Highway 43, about a half mile north of Seneca, when a southbound 2002 Ford truck attempted to make a left turn in front of the Nissan.
    Carel's vehicle then struck the Ford pickup, driven by Austin G. Deweese, 21 of Diamond.
    Conlee was taken to Freeman West Hospital for treatment, while Deweese and Carel were not injured in the crash.

    A Neosho woman is in serious condition after being struck by a vehicle Saturday morning.
    Gisela R. Graffis, 71, was airlifted to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin for treatment.
    Graffis was struck by a 1997 Ford Taurus around 8:30 a.m. Saturday on Norway Road, five miles east of Neosho.
    Danny W. Dotson, 27 of Granby, was traveling eastbound on Norway Road when his vehicle struck the pedestrian.

    A Seneca man suffered minor injuries on Saturday when his vehicle ran into the ditch around 12:44 p.m.
    David A. Griffin, 39, was traveling northbound on Missouri Highway 43 in a 2004 Kia, when he failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the roadway and struck the ditch.
    Griffin was taken by ambulance to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin for treatment.
