  • Wildcat Pride Night set for Saturday

  • The Neosho Booster Club is again teaming with Neosho High School to give Wildcat fans a glimpse of what to expect this season as they host Wildcat Pride Night from 2-8:15 p.m. Saturday.

  • The Neosho Booster Club is again teaming with Neosho High School to give Wildcat fans a glimpse of what to expect this season as they host Wildcat Pride Night from 2-8:15 p.m. Saturday.
    Events kick off at 2 p.m. when the softball team, under new head coach Brandi Arthur, hosts a soap scrimmage at the brand new Carver Sports Complex until 3 p.m. The volleyball team follows with its own scrimmage from 3:30-4:30 p.m. at the high school gymnasium. The boys’ soccer team is set to follow with a scrimmage from 4:45-5:15 at Bob Anderson Stadium.
    From 5:30-6:30 fans can meet all of the fall sports teams while enjoying free hot dogs, corn, water and games. The NHS Booster Club will also be on hand for anyone who would like to purchase a membership into the club.
    The NHS band will perform the National Athem at 6:30, followed by a routine from the dance and cheer team from 6:35-6:45.
    Fall sports athlete introductions will occur at 6:45, followed by a spirit speech from new Neosho Superintendent Dan Decker at 7:10. The NHS football team will take the field for its annual Black & Gold scrimmage at 7:20 at Bob Anderson Stadium, with new head football coach Dustin Baldwin expected to speak at 8:15 to wrap up the evening.
    All fans are encouraged to attend Pride Night in support of the Wildcats.

    2:00 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.
    2:00-3:00 Softball soap scrimmage at Carver Sports Complex
    3:30-4:30 Volleyball soap scrimmage at the Neosho High School gym
    4:45-5:15 Soccer soap scrimmage at Bob Anderson Stadium
    5:30-6:30 Meet the fall sports teams and enjoy free hot dogs, corn, water and games.  NHS Booster Club will be selling memberships.
    6:30-6:35 National Anthem - NHS band to perform
    6:35-6:45 Dance and cheer routine
    6:45-7:00 Introduction of fall sports athletes
    7:00-7:05 Youth football/youth cheer/high school cheer/dance and band make a spirit line for youth/high school football breakout.
    7:05-7:10 Fight song - NHS band to perform
    7:10-7:20 Spirit speech by Superintendent Dan Decker
    7:20-8:15 NHS Black & Gold football scrimmage
    8:15 Coach Baldwin will say a few words
