Eunice Keys, 81, Neosho, formerly of Rocky Comfort, passed away Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, at Medicalodge in Neosho.
She was born March 11, 1932, in Heavener, Okla., the daughter of Col and Lena (Cox) Woods.
In 1950, she was united in marriage to Conville Keys and to this union four children were born.
Conville preceded her in death in October 2005.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Ricky Lee Keys; four brothers, Edward Woods, Willard Woods, Howard Woods and Billy Woods; a sister, Lorraine Long, one sister in infancy; and one granddaughter.
On Oct. 8, 2006, she married Jack Burns, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Brenda DeGraffenreid and her husband, Terry, Cassville, Connie Jean Farren and her husband, Steve, Joplin, and Judy Porsche, Houma, La.; two step-daughters, Patty Gober of the state of California and Donna Nute of the state of Texas; one sister, Mildred Kring of the state of North Carolina; 10 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one step-great grandchild; and one great-great-grandchild.
Eunice received her education at Rocky Comfort. Most of her life was spent in Stella, Wheaton and Rocky Comfort, where she farmed and was a homemaker. She was a member of Rocky Comfort Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. John Doolin and Richard Anderson will conduct the services. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery, Stella.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today at McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton.
