  • The Diamond and Seneca girls’ volleyball teams were locked in a fierce battle Thursday night at Diamond High School. In the end the Lady Wildcats prevailed on their home court in three sets 25-21, 19-25, 25-20.

  • The Diamond and Seneca girls’ volleyball teams were locked in a fierce battle Thursday night at Diamond High School. In the end the Lady Wildcats prevailed on their home court in three sets 25-21, 19-25, 25-20.
    Kalyn Martin had a big day for the Lady Wildcats with 14 kills and nine digs, as did Zoe Renfro with 10 assists and 11 service points. Frances Bentz led the team with three aces and Kirsten Eden had five blocks.
    The Lady Indians were led by Cheyenne Nehoff with 10 kills and three aces, while Mikalee Kime had six blocks, Hannah Gorham 21 digs and Molli Cooper 23 assists.
    Seneca won the B game 25-12, 25-17.
    Diamond travels to College Heights at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Seneca hosts McDonald County next week.
