Eddie H. Clark, Jr., 50, Granby, died Sept. 12, 2013, at Freeman West Hospital from injuries sustained in a motorcycle–vehicle accident.
Eddie was born May 1, 1963, in Monett, and was a lifelong area resident. Eddie worked at Jarden Consumer Solutions as a logistic coordinator and was a member of the First Church of God in Granby. He loved spending time with family; loved all children and was an avid outdoorsman.
Eddie and his wife, Karen, were married on May 16, 1987, at Neosho and she survives.
Also surviving are two children, Zac Clark and wife, Bethany, Granby, and Emma Clark, Granby; his mother, June Linton, Quapaw, Okla.; two brothers, Bobby Linton, Granby, and Mike Linton, Neosho; four sisters, Lori Embrey, Warrensburg, Sandy Clark, Anderson, Karla Tynon, Quapaw, Okla., and Charlotte Clark, Carthage; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Janette and George Burgess, Neosho; and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Linton.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Church of God in Granby. Pastor Ashley Edgemon will officiate. Interment will be in the Hazel Green Cemetery, Boulder City. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Clark Funeral Home, Granby. The casket will be closed at all times.
