Wilma Jean Wagner, 78, Neosho, died Sept. 18, 2013, at her home following a sudden illness.

Wilma was born July 5, 1935, in Neosho, the daughter of William A. and Nellie (McIlvaine) Berry. She was a lifelong area resident and had worked at Sale Memorial Hospital and Freeman Neosho Hospital in housekeeping and as a CNA.  She enjoyed country music and baseball and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Neosho.

Wilma is survived by a son, Stuart Wagner, Springfield, Mo.; two sisters, Ila Queener, Neosho and Wanna Heck, Sands Springs, Okla.; and two brothers, Carl A. Berry and wife, Kathy, and Jerry W. Berry and wife, Paula, all of Neosho.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Wagner, in 1969; her parents; a brother, Joe Berry; and a sister, Beverly Jean Berry.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at King Cemetery. Dr. Jerry Seigel will officiate.

Friends may call at from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.

The casket will be closed at all times.
