Two overtime periods weren't enough to determine the winner of Saturday's soccer game between Crowder and St. Charles Community College at Roughrider Soccer Field.
After a rough and tumble first half in which there was no score, the Roughriders finally got on the board first when Daniel Collins took a pass from Jose Valdez at midfield, dribbled past a couple defenders and booted the ball into the net from six-yards away to make it 1-0, 14 minutes into the second half.
The score remained 1-0 until the Cougars shocked the Roughriders with a goal with only 1:53 remaining in regulation to tie it 1-1. The foes would battle it out through two 10 minute overtime periods before the game was declared a tie.
Both teams finished with four shots on goal. Roughriders' keeper Gustav Kennestig recorded three saves.
The Roughriders (5-5-1) travel to take on Cowley County at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Arkansas City, Kan.
