Neosho's FCS Financial office, 2355 Lusk Dr., Neosho, will close their doors on Friday and the services will be moved to a new Joplin location.

"We have made a decision, based on the study of the marketplace, to consolidate some of our service offices in building, state-of-the art facilities and then creating a little more employee scale," said Jeff Houts, executive vice president of operations at FCS Financial in Jefferson City. "In other words, a broader staff at each location and that will allow us to — we believe in all better serve our customers through a varied set of resources. Agriculture is certainly changing and we try to fit the resource…"

FCS Financial has been consolidating office locations during the past several years and opening and expanding offices in Joplin and Springfield.

"There are five staff members working through the Neosho office who will be relocating to the new consolidated Joplin facility, which will be located at 108 N. Prosperity Ave., in Joplin," he said.

That office will open on Monday, Oct. 14.

FCS Financial is Missouri's largest agricultural lender providing operating, equipment, machinery, livestock, construction, and real estate loans as well as crop and life insurance to rural areas. They have been serving rural Missouri since 1916.
"Our employees are what make us different in the marketplace," said Houts, in a prepared statement. "We have a team of experts who understand the agricultural industry and farming. We are excited to bring this broader team to not only Joplin and serve that community but the surrounding communities as well."

The Mt. Vernon office and the Cassville contact point office will also consolidate.

"Mt. Vernon is also being consolidated, that will actually be served through the Joplin facility as well as some customers could choose to be served out of the Springfield facility," Houts said. "We have had a contact point in Cassville and our contact point is relocating to the Monett market, as part of this transition."

Houts said that the customers shouldn't see any difference.

"Our customers should not see any difference in service," Houts said. "We will still provide on-farm service, online account access and financing through our FCS Financial Express program at local equipment dealers. Additionally, we now have a new facility in Joplin with state-of-the-art technology to serve those customers who prefer to visit our office."
A grand opening is planned for Tuesday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. and lunch served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
