  • Everyone wearing a Seneca volleyball uniform got in on the fun Monday.
    In a pair of dominant games, the Seneca Lady Indians hammered Miller 25-17, 25-11 in varsity volleyball action at Seneca High School.
    Seneca improved to 9-11-1 overall.
    The Lady Indians controlled the scoreboard thanks to contributions from all over the floor. Their bench played a key role in the victory.
    Maranda Sparks paced the Lady Indians with an ace and five kills. Rachel Butterfield turned in eight assists. Ashley Martin finished with two blocks. Cheyenne Neuhoff topped the team with four digs.
    “I was pleased,” Lady Indians coach Cheryl Butterfield said. “Everybody contributed. It was kind of a slow game, but we did well. We passed well tonight, so that was good.”
    Dylan Hadlock led Miller with eight assists. Makayla Faucett paced the Lady Cardinals with six blocks and seven kills.
    Seneca also won the B match in two sets, 25-12, 25-9.
    The Lady Indians entertain Wheaton at 6 p.m. today.
