  • The Neosho girls’ volleyball team knew it would have its hands full against a potent Carl Junction squad on Monday.
    A team with plenty of depth, the Lady Bulldogs jumped ahead early and cruised past Neosho in two sets, 25-7, 25-14.
    Brooke Stauffer and Morgan Rogers both led the Lady Wildcats in kills with three each. Macy Smith had one block. Mallory Powell recorded seven digs. Sam Duke finished with four assists.
    The Lady Wildcats fell to 4-20-2 overall.
    Carl Junction also won the B game 25-19, 25-12, and the ninth grade game 25-4, 25-10.
    Neosho entertains Nixa tonight at 5 p.m. where they’ll celebrate Pink Out Night in honor of breast cancer awareness as well as honoring its seniors on senior night.
