  • The Neosho Youth Soccer league wrapped up Week 3 with a slew of exciting games.
    Monday, Oct. 21
    5-6 league
    Buffalo Wild Wings (Smith) 8, Poore’s Auto Salvage (Thayer) 0
    Conner Jones poured in five goals to lead Buffalo Wild Wings to victory last Monday. Zane Thornberry recorded a hat trick in the win and added a save, while Ethan Crandall scored a goal. Travis Thomas recorded three saves for Poore’s.

    Garages and More (Russell) 2, Mitchell’s Downtown Drug Store (Shaeffer) 0
    Wyatt Murphy and Josiah Russell scored a goal apiece for Garages and More while Joel Wright added two saves.
    Maison Kincaid recorded four saves for Shaeffer.
    9-11
    Garner Law Firm (Bebie) 1, Anderson Car & Tractor (Pendergraft) 1
    In a game that couldn’t be decided in regulation, Garner Law Firm and Anderson Car & Tractor fought to a draw in a tough match.
    Thomas Leonard scored the lone goal for Garner Law Firm, while Alyssa Jarrett had the lone goal for Anderson Car & Tractor.

    Poore’s Auto Salvage (Anderson) 9, Poore’s Auto Salvage (Hughes) 3
    Two players scored three goals apiece for Poore’s Anderson as they rolled Poore’s Hughes in senior league action.
    Landon Doke and Triston Arret both scored three times, while Braydon Holloway had two goals and Draven House scored once in the victory for Poore’s Anderson. Joshua Iseli recorded three saves in goal, as well.
    Jaidon Cole found the back of the net three times to account for all of Poore’s Hughes’ offense, while Kelcee Bohannon turned in 15 saves.
    Tuesday, Oct. 22
    5-6
    Poore’s Auto Salvage (Rodriguez) 4, Poore’s Auto Salvage (Dickinson) 0
    Poore’s Rodriguez played exceptional defense while turning in a shutout victory over Poore’s Dickinson on Tuesday.
    Eli Cearnel helped pitch the save in goal, recording one save while also scoring a goal in the victory. Jaden Hunter scored twice for Rodriguez and Alex Rodriguez scored once.
    Jakob Carver and Eli Garrett had two saves each for Dickinson and Sandra Lane added one stop.

    Poore’s Auto Salvage (Coatney) 4, Farrell Construction (Kissel) 3
    Braylon Bressie beat the keeper three times to lead Poore’s Coatney to a hard fought victory over Farrell Construction in a nail-biter. Brayden Barbre recorded a pair of saves in the win and Weston Francisco had one.
    Page 2 of 4 - Nickolas Garza booted two goals for Farrell Construction and Hudson Williams added another. Adam Farrell recorded six saves and Parker Hughes finished with one.

    Anderson Car & Tractor (Pendergraft) 3, Poore’s Auto Salvage (Lucus) 2
    In a game that went down to the wire, Brayden Watts recorded seven big saves as Anderson Car & Tractor downed Poore’s Auto Salvage in a close one. Bryan Ruiz scored a pair of key goals in the victory and Austin Rodriguez booted another.
    Kytn Francisco scored a goal for Poore’s and Marcus Stinson booted another and recorded a save. Ashton Contreras turned in two saves.

    Poore’s Auto Salvage (Jennings) 2, Poore’s Auto Salvage (Anderson) 1
    Tuesday was a day of tight games in the Neosho Youth Soccer League as Poore’s Jennings escaped Poore’s Anderson in a thriller. Zachary Jennings and Codie Lasley each scored a goal in the win for Jennings.
    Landon Doke scored the lone goal for Anderson, while Joshua Iseli recorded six saves.
    Thursday, Oct. 24
    5-6
    Poore’s Auto Salvage (Harms) 6, Poore’s Auto Salvage (Jordon) 0
    Poore’s Harms played superb defense and got a big day from one of its offensive stars in a shutout victory over Poore’s Jordon. Ezequiel Pupo couldn’t be stopped for Harms as he scored all six goals for his team.
    No stats were reported for Poore’s Jordon.

    Ozark Industrial Lubricants (Bartley) 4, Poore’s Auto Salvage (Horne) 0
    The second shutout of the day went to Ozark Industrial Lubricants, as Jordan Nevins booted two goals and Jonathan Tribbey and Quinton Montgomery had one apiece in the victory. Andrew Fears picked up the win in goal with three saves.
    Colton Southern turned in five saves and Cooper Horne had two for Poore’s Horne.
    9-11 league
    Poore’s Auto Salvage (Lucus) 1, Poore’s Auto Salvage (Daniel) 1
    Strong defense on both sides of the field turned Thursday’s showdown between Poore’s Lucus and Poore’s Daniel into a stalemate.
    Teagan Farriester scored the lone goal for Lucus, while Taylor Burns and Seann Boumus recorded one save each.
    Dylan McNeill scored the lone goal for Daniel, while Walker Stipp had four saves, Cade Daniel two and Oscar Robles one.

    Poore’s Auto Salvage (Jennings) 6, Poore’s Auto Salvage (West) 0
    A big day from Zachary Jennings helped lift Poore’s Jennings to a shutout win over Poore’s West. Jennings hit the back of the net four times to lead his namesake to the win, while Codie Lasley and Adam Murphy also scored once. Jacob Fienen turned in three saves and Chelsey Schooler had another.
    Page 3 of 4 - Ethan Carnagey turned in 12 saves for Poore’s West.
    Saturday, Oct. 26

    Poore’s Auto Salvage (Jordon) 6, Poore’s Auto Salvage (Thayer) 0
    Carson Jordon was a thorn Poore’s Thayer couldn’t extract on Saturday, as he booted four goals to lead Poore’s Jordon to a shutout win. Byron Anderson scored twice in the win, as well.
    Eathan Shewmaker recorded a pair of saves for Poore’s Thayer.  
    Poore’s Auto Salvage (Harms) 4, Poore’s Auto Salvage (Rodriguez) 2
    Ezequiel Pupo had his second big game of the week, this time recording all four goals in the win for Harms. Gavin Hymer turned in two saves and Anthony Howe added another.
    Jaden Nichols scored two goals and recorded two saves for Poore’s Rodriguez. Alex Rodriguez had one save.
    Buffalo Wild Wings (Smith) 3, Poore’s Auto Salvage (Dickinson) 2
    Perhaps the most exciting game of the day in the 5-6 league was this one as Buffalo Wild Wings narrowly escaped Poore’s Dickinson.
    Zane Thornberry booted a pair of goals for Buffalo Wild Wings. Jessery Gutierrez also scored a goal, while the defense was paced by Ethan Crandall with three saves and Isaac Scaletta with one.
    Noah Schade scored both goals for Dickinson. Defensively, Evan Shields turned in three saves and Sylas Valentine and Sandra Lane had one each.
    7-8 league
    Farrell Construction (Kissel) 4, Garages and More (Russell) 0
    Hudson Williams booted four goals to lead Farrell Construction to a shutout win over Garages and More. Parker Hughes stopped two shots to earn the victory in goal.
    Bella Baker finished with nine saves for Garages and More.
    Poore’s Auto Salvage (Coatney) 8, Poore’s Auto Salvage (Horne) 0
    There was no shortage of offense for Poore’s Coatney on Saturday, as Braylon Bressie and Leonard Gindling scored three goals apiece and Anthony Auitua and Abigail Scarletta booted one each to lead Coatney to a big win. Hannah Dunn had one save for Coatney.
    Colton Southern turned in five saves for Horne and Aiden Howell had four stops.
    Ozark Industrial Lubricants (Bartley) 3, Mitchell’s Downtown Drug Store (Shaeffer) 1
    Jonathan Tribbey’s two goals were the difference on Saturday as Ozark Industrial Lubricants escaped Mitchell’s Downtown Drug Store in a close match. Dayton Warren also scored a goal for Ozark Industrial Lubricants and Andrew Fears had a save.
    Aiden Daugherty stopped 10 shots for Mitchell’s Downtown Drug Store and Parker Mittag had one save.

    Poore’s Auto Salvage (Daniel) 6, Garner Law Firm (Bebie) 4
    Carson Hoth and Weston Ward punched in two goals each and Rogelio Gutierrez and Taylor Schooler scored once as Poore’s Daniel escaped Garner Law Firm in a high-scoring affair. Dylan McNeill had 11 saves in the win and Oscar Robles stopped two shots.
    George Hernandez scored three goals for Poore’s Daniel. Anthony Flemming turned in eight saves and Gabriel Williams had one in the loss.
    Poore’s Auto Salvage (Lucus) 2, Anderson Car & Tractor (Pendergraft) 0
    Kytn Francisco accounted for all of Poore’s offense with two goals, while three goalkeepers pitched in to ensure a shutout over Anderson Car & Tractor. Ashton Contreras had four saves in the win and Kyle Schmidt and Seann Boumus had one stop each.
    Brayden Watts turned in a whopping 15 saves for Anderson Car & Tractor and Lane Morgan added three.

    Poore’s Auto Salvage (Anderson) 4, Poore’s Auto Salvage (Jennings) 4
    In the final draw of the week, the offense flowed between Poore’s Anderson and Poore’s Jennings in the senior league on Saturday.
    Draven House scored three goals for Poore’s Anderson and Triston Arret booted another. Joshua Iseli finished with eight saves.
    Like House, Zachary Jennings scored three times for his team and Adam Murphy scored once and recorded a save for Poore’s Jennings. Chelsey Schooler turned in 13 saves for Jennings and Jacob Mitchell had two stops.
    Poore’s Auto Salvage (Hughes) 3, Poore’s Auto Salvage (West) 2
    The final game of the week was a thriller in the senior league between Poore’s Hughes and Poore’s West.
    Jaidon Cole booted a pair of goals for Hughes and Conner Hughes found the back of the net once in the win. Kelcee Bohannon had seven saves in the win.
    Braedon Volleberg scored both goals for Poore’s West.
