A bond appearance hearing has been set for one of three people arrested last week after deputies served a search warrant at a rural Newton County home.
William Lynn Kittrell Sr, 71, 17444 Goldfinch Road, was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, a Class C felony punishable by up to seven years in prison. Bond has been set at $10,000 and a bond appearance hearing has been set for 8:30 a.m. May 14 in Newton County Division II Associate Circuit Court Judge Greg Stremel’s courtroom.
According to court documents, charges have not formally been filed against two others arrested in the raid: Neil Fisher, 53, of Seneca, who was initially charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia; and Crystal Hall, 35, Goodman, who was arrested on outstanding traffic warrants.
Newton County Chief Deputy Chris Jennings told the Daily News five guns were confiscated from Kittrell’s home, along with methamphetamine and marijuana. Scales and other items were also seized.
