  • Seventh grade boys take second at COC JH Meet

  • Neosho’s seventh and eighth grade track and field teams competed in the Junior High Central Ozark Conference Track Meet on Monday, where the seventh grade boys took second place and the seventh and eighth grade girls and eighth grade boys each took sixth place, respectively.

  • Neosho’s seventh and eighth grade track and field teams competed in the Junior High Central Ozark Conference Track Meet on Monday, where the seventh grade boys took second place and the seventh and eighth grade girls and eighth grade boys each took sixth place, respectively.
    Results for the seventh grade boys were:
    100 hurdles — 3rd place, McKay Harris; 6, Cade Lyerla.
    100 dash — 1, Dylan Jordan; 2, McKay Harris; 4, Magdelino Martinez.
    200 dash — 1, Dylan Jordan; 7, Magdelino Martinez.
    400 dash — 4, Magdelino Martinez; 8, Lane Wasson.
    4x100 dash — 1, Neosho (Lyerla, Connor McGehee, Donnie Fox, Jordan).
    4x200 dash — 2, Neosho (Lyerla, McGehee, Blake Norris, Fox).
    Pole vault — 3, Alec Rothman; 4, Carson Funk.
    Long jump — 1, McKay Harris; 2, Dylan Jordan.
    Results for the seventh grade girls were:
    4x100 relay — 3, Neosho (Tayler Ebbinghaus, Ariel Powell, Amber Shepeard, Madi Flynn).
    Triple jump — 3, Madi Flynn.
    High jump — 1, Ariel Powell.
    Discus — 1, Jewel Kivett.
    Shot put — 4, Jewel Kivett.
    Eighth grade girls’ results were:
    Kayleigh Vaughn won first in the mile and second in the half mile.
    Emilee Anderson placed third in the 400. The 4x100 relay team of Ashley Talley, Emilee Anderson, Julia Houk and Allison Burr took third. Results for the eighth grade boys weren’t available.
    The Tri-County Conference Meet is Thursday in Neosho.
