  • The future of baseball and softball in the area continues to look bright, as hundreds of players showcased their talents last week with banner days on the diamond. Two players tossed no-hitters and a host of others had huge offensive performances as Neosho Little League prepared to enter its final week of games at Morse Park. Below are results for games played between June 4-7.

Two players tossed no-hitters and a host of others had huge offensive performances as Neosho Little League prepared to enter its final week of games at Morse Park. Below are results for games played between June 4-7.
    Wednesday, June 4
    Competitor’s Wearhouse boys T-ball
    Braves vs. Pirates
    Giants vs. Orioles
    Angels vs. Mariners
    7-8 boys baseball
    Griffith Motors 10, Charles Burt Realtors 0
    Coleman Deines ripped a double and two singles to lead Griffith Motors to a shutout victory. Hayden McBroom aided his team with a double and two singles and Justin Olson had a double and single in the win.
    Dalton Kesinger led Charles Burt Realtors with two singles, while teammate Hudson Williams chipped in a single.
    Swift Construction 16, Nutra Blend 5
    Swift Construction’s offense was a beast Nutra Blend could not tame in Wednesday’s showdown. Collier Hendricks, Kanten Smith and Quenton Hughes each had a monster game with the bat as Hendricks slugged a home run, double and single, while Smith ripped a triple, double and two singles and Hughes hammered a triple, double and two singles to lead their team to victory.
    Jonah Reed also had a big day for Nutra Blend, as he smashed a double and single, while Wyatt Beasly and Caleb Cunningham both smacked a double.
    Thursday, June 5

    Junior Mints vs. Lollipops
    Sweet Tarts vs. Gummi Bears
    Skittles vs. Jolly Ranchers
    7-8 girls softball
    Admirable Solutions 3, CEI Trucking 1
    Ava Sims had a big day with a double and single and Natasha Bounous and Hailey Noah both had three singles to lead Admirable Solutions to victory in a nail-biter.
    Kenley Schlessman and Grace Shorter both had a double for CEI Trucking.
    Erin Willis Law Firm 16, Turk CPA 7
    Kaylee Schibi simply would not settle for a single on this day as she finished with two triples and a double to lead Erin Willis Law Firm to a big win. Teammates Jayden Adams and Kadence Elliott had a triple, double and single apiece in the victory.
    Chole Tunnell lined a double and single and Hannah Dunn slapped three singles to lead Turk CPA.
    O’Dell Trucking 11, 4 States Dental 5
    Three-hit days for Maddie Ebbinghaus and Gracie Johnson, who both had two doubles and a single, helped lead O’Dell Trucking past 4 States Dental. Dawsyn Decker ripped a pair of doubles and Maelynn Garrett added a double and two singles for O’Dell Trucking in the win.
    Page 2 of 4 - Abigail Coutu led 4 States Dental’s offense with a double and two singles and Violet Carver finished with three singles.
    9-10 girls softball
    Performance Muffler 10, Branco 5
    Hannah Powell punched a double and scored a run and Lili Graue had a single to help lead Performance Muffler.
    Tayloer Schooler lined a double, Kendall Platner singled and scored a run and Kylee Schmidt punched a single for Branco.
    Sports Locker 15, Outbound Technologies 9
    Kiara Schibi smacked a single and scored twice to lead Sports Locker’s offense.
    Zoe Moore punched a single and scored a run to lead Outbound Technologies.
    13-16 girls softball
    Lone Star Insurance 13, Family Market 11
    There was an abundance of offense in this one. In the end, Lone Star Insurance had just enough to squeeze past Family Market.
    Allee Stansbury led Lone Star Insurance with a double, single and two runs scored, while Megan Anderson had a double, Alex Harter two singles and two runs scored and Grace Hart two singles and a run scored in the win.
    Dezarai Dobbs paced Family Market’s charge with three singles and two runs scored, while Jessica Madwell finished with two singles and three runs scored, Cheyenne Bates chipped in two singles and scored a run and Kori Wince sliced two singles for Family Market.
    9-10 boys baseball
    Sports Locker 8, Branco 0
    Excuse the pun, but River Brill was pretty swift on the mound for Sports Locker. The young hurler simply dazzled on the mound, whirling a no-hitter while striking out nine batters in the process. His teammate, Jacob Werner, led the team at the plate with a double.
    Gavin Dillon reached base twice for Branco.
    86 Super Stop 10, 4 States Dental 2
    Like Brill above, Easton Schrader also had a dominant day on the bump, as he too pitched a no-hitter and struck out seven batters in the victory for 86 Super Stop. Despite his success on the mound Schrader also dominated at the plate, where he smashed a home run and doubled to cap a day that would make a big leaguer proud.
    Reese Whiseman helped back Schrader with a triple and single at the dish for 86 Super Stop.
    Logan Whetzell and Dillon Sarratt each scored a run for 4 States Dental.
    Twin Oaks 11, Nutra Blend 5
    Eric Siler cranked two doubles and Jared Siler had another double to pave the way to victory for Twin Oaks.
    Jeremiah Cobb, Wyatt Shadwick, Walker Smith, Noah Reed and Dallas Timberlake all scored a run for Nutra Blend.
    13-16 boys baseball

    Elijah Boggs clubbed three singles and crossed the plate three times for La-Z-Boy.
    Brandon Yoder led Rhoades Law Firm with a single and a run scored and Leif Elliot contributed a single in the loss.
    Rhoades Law Firm 9, Twister Safe 5
    Alec Rothman collected a pair of hits, a double and single, and Nathan Williams punched two singles and scored three runs in the win for Rhoades Law Firm.
    Eric Putnam smacked a double and scored a run, while Adrian Beasley had a single and run scored for Twister Safe.

    Coleman Deines ripped a double and three singles and Alex Rodriguez added a double and two singles in a victory for Griffith Motors that left fans on the edge of their seats.
    Finn Versluis had a big day at the plate, belting a triple, double and single for Kwik Mart, while Kaleb Daspit contributed a double and two singles at the plate.
    Charles Burt Realtors 14, Sonic 3
    Extra-base hits were a theme in this game, as Raiden Davis smashed a pair of triples and a double, while Hudson Williams had two triples and two singles and Ryken Schallenburger had a triple and two singles to lead Charles Burt Realtors to victory.
    Luke Soule and Ayden Austin each had two doubles to lead Sonic’s effort.
    US Bank 10, Jack Henry Associates 6
    Zack Lauderdale ripped a pair of doubles and Nick Garner had a double and two singles for US Bank.
    Jayson Upton bashed a home run and added a single for Jack Henry Associates, while Trenton Price added a double in the loss.
    GB Realtor Solutions 7, First Community Bank 5
    Joel Bridges cracked three doubles and a single, while David Rodriguez added a double and a pair of singles for GB Realtor Solutions.
    Konner Siler had a big day with two doubles and a pair of singles for First Community Bank.
    ProLube 14, 4 States Dental 8
    Bostyn Patterson crushed a home run, double and single to lead ProLube, while Conner Pogue contributed a double and single and Landon Stipp slapped two singles and scored twice in the victory.
    Daniel Molina paced 4 States Dental with a triple and single and Carter Mackey singled twice in the loss.
    9-10 boys baseball
    Crowder College 10, Burr Motors 2
    Harrison Slinkard socked a triple and single and scored two runs to lead Crowder College to victory. Hayden Crane contributed a double and scored a pair of runs in the win, as well.
    Page 4 of 4 - Noah Francisco punched a double and scored once and Kytan Francisco singled and scored a run scored for Burr Motors.
    11-12 boys baseball
    Ron’s Auto & Trailer 11, Oak Ridge Pawn Shop 6
    Adam Morris smashed a pair of triples, Lucas Dunaway doubled twice and Jaden Harter lined a double to lead Ron’s Auto & Trailer past Oak Ridge Pawn Shop.
    Leaders weren’t available for Oak Ridge Pawn Shop.
    B&B Welding 11, Mower Pro Plus 9
    Nakota Bach bashed a home run and a triple, while Matt Kelly singled twice in the win for B&B Welding in an exciting game.
    Sam Collinsworth cracked two doubles and Trace Wilson added a pair of singles for Mower Pro Plus.
    11-12 girls softball
    4 States Dental 8, Camerer Roofing 7
    Amber Shepeard popped a double and two singles and Ciara Eskridge and Kyla Daspit both had three singles to lead 4 States Dental in a close victory.
    Torin Bean notched a triple and two singles, while Cheyenne Bates and Kelcee Bohannan each had a double and two singles to lead Camerer Roofing.
    Crowder College 9, Outbound Technologies 7
    Mikena Bond belted a triple and double and Kearstin Hart had a double and single to lead the way for Crowder College.
    Megan Adamson legged out a triple and double and Alyssa Jarrett had a triple and single for Outbound Technologies.
    13-16 girls softball
    Sonic 8, Mitchell’s Downtown Drug Store 1
    Katey O’Bryan punched three singles and scored two runs, while and Tegan Briant popped two singles and scored two runs to spearhead Sonic’s big day.
    Emily Mojica drilled two doubles and Miranda Lutes had finished with a double for Mitchell’s Downtown Drug Store.
