Franklin ‘Ross’ Adams, 62, Neosho, died June 13, 2014, in Joplin following a short illness.

Ross was born Jan. 9, 1952, in Salt Lake City, Utah and lived most of his life in the southwest Missouri area. He served in the U.S. Army and worked in residential and commercial construction. He enjoyed playing pool and was in the NAPA Pool League. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with grandchildren.

Ross and Glenda Hawk were married on April 24, 1970, in Joplin and she survives.

He is also survived by two children, Scottie Adams and wife, Cheryl, Webb City and Melissa Brumfield and fiance’, Brian Millspaugh, Webb City; three grandchildren, Colton, Blake and Londyn; two brothers, Wayne Adams and Butch Adams; and two sisters, Sue Boyer and Marie Oxford.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow in Gibson Cemetery.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m.
