Counterfeit money, cash and drugs were seized when Newton County sheriff’s Department deputies arrested two people in Neosho Tuesday evening.
Chris Jennings, chief deputy, said sheriff’s officers stopped a suspicious vehicle on Kerman Lane at 7:16 p.m. Jennings reported that deputies seized 10 grams of methamphetamine, a quantity of marijuana, cash, counterfeit bills, and a loaded firearm.
Andrew James Sisco, 28, Neosho, is charged with possession of a controlled substance and counterfeiting. Jennings said Sisco is jailed on a $100,000 bond.
He said Emily Mariah Smith, 20, Goodman, is held on a $50,000 bond. She is charged with possession of a controlled substance. Jennings noted that other charges are pending.
