It was homecoming in Anderson as Springfield Central came calling and homecoming queen Autumn Hanks left with a smile on her face as McDonald County throttled the Bulldogs, 53-20.

The Mustangs’ offense was both balanced and potent in the victory over Central.

“The kids played real well and it was a great win,” McDonald County coach Chris Gwartney said. “It was a win that our kids really needed. We had our best night through the air with four touchdowns passing and we also had more than 200 yards rushing. It’s nice to have a win under our belts.”

Zack Peck also had his best game as a receiver for McDonald County.
