Four Neosho Wildcats’ football players were honored late last week by the Central Ozark Conference as all-conference performers.
After a stellar individual campaign that saw him finish with 152 tackles, Ethan Epperson was a unanimous first team All-COC inside linebacker.
Joining Epperson on the first team was fellow senior Gavin Rainwater. Rainwater actually earned first team honors as both an offensive lineman and a defensive lineman.
Senior Tyler Rathmann was the third Wildcat to earn All-COC honors. Rathmann earned second team defensive back honors. He was also on the honorable mention list as a wide receiver, despite spending much of the 2011 season under center.
The final Neosho player to be honored was Aaron Clardy. The sophomore earned honorable mention honors as a defensive lineman.
Neosho finished the 2011 season with a 2-8 record.
