Thursday, Sept. 2
• The 24th Annual Industrial Golf Tournament will be Thursday, Sept. 2 at the Neosho Golf Course.  Registration deadline is Friday, Aug. 27.  $50 per golfer. Limited to the first 54 teams.  For more information, contact Kathy at kathy@neoshocc.com or 451-2945.

Friday, Sept. 3
• Best Western Big Spring Lodge will host September’s First Friday Coffee on Sept. 3 from 7:30–8:30 a.m. at 1810 Southern View Dr.

Saturday, Sept. 4
• There will be a music at “Pam’s Place” in Seneca. House band “Rising Creek” will be performing along with the guest band this week “Bad Knees Risin” from Miami, Okla. Doors open at 6 p.m., show starts at 7 p.m. Everyone welcome. “Pam’s Place” is located at 2097 Marla Lane across from Eagle Picher in Seneca. All area musicians are welcome. There will be an open mic sign up. For more information call 455-3735 or 776-4529.

Sunday, Sept. 5
• The Stella High School Annual All School Class Reunion will be held at the Triway Elementary School’s cafeteria, Stella, starting at 1 p.m. with registration. A short business meeting will be held at 3:30 p.m. The class of 1960 (50 year class) will be recognized and sit at a special table. They will be honored by going through the dinner line first. Bring a covered dish and enjoy a 4 p.m. dinner. Meat, drinks and table service will be furnished.
• The annual Lankford reunion will be held at the Seneca Council House, across from the high school. For more information, call Mike Green 389-3105 or Thelma Widener 776-3358.

Wednesday, Sept. 8
• The Neosho Women’s Club meets at 11:30 a.m. at Shoney’s to play bridge. For more information contact Susan Genisio at 451-3774 or Connie McClusky 451-7726.

Thursday, Sept. 9
• The Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland will host an ice cream social on Thursday, Sept. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the South Elementary School in Neosho.  They invite all girls interested in joining Girl Scouting from kindergarten to senior high school age.

Friday, Sept. 10
• The Neosho High School All-School Reunion will be Friday and Saturday, Sept. 10-11.  The homecoming parade will be Friday, Sept. 10, at 3 p.m. on the downtown Square. The Rotary Club Chili Supper will be at 5 p.m. at the hsigh school cafeteria.  The Homecoming football game will be at 7 p.m. For more information, please e-mail the association at alumnicommittee@neoshoalumni.org.

• DIAMOND — The George Washington Carver National Monument celebrates life during the 1860s-1880s with Prairie Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information call 325-4151.

• The Merry Makers Family Community Education organization, formerly Extension Homemakers, will be celebrating its 50th anniversary from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept, 12, at the Granby After Dark, 629 E.
