Unless a Christian is willing to make their life a matter of prayer along with the study of God’s word a matter of top priority, than they will have little effect as a Christian.

Unless a Christian is willing to make their life a matter of prayer along with the study of God’s word a matter of top priority, than they will have little effect as a Christian.
No Christian has the answers to life, or the understanding, without taking the time, making the effort to have a relationship with the Lord.
Christians say, “I talk to God here or there, I’ll pray as I go to work or in the fields.”  This is all good and well.  But there must be quiet time, those reserved places for just you and God.
Unless you are willing to stop and put everything aside, you will never know the Lord like you should.  You will continue to struggle more in the matters of life because you are taking more time for yourself than visiting personally with God.
The only way to live a more real life as a Christian requires you personally taking the time to get to know, to talk with God.  Until you do, life will be more of a struggle than it needs to be.
I believe prayer is the only hope today for mankind.  Prayer is the key to unlocking the outpouring of the Spirit of God.  That will begin the transforming of society.  For the Christian, life’s real battles are won in the field of prayer.  When a Christian presents an honest and heartfelt prayer before heaven, even hell pays attention.
Real prayer is the language of God.  Prayer was Jesus’ first choice of weaponry to fight against His enemies and it should be ours.
