Today marks the beginning of national Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease.According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (www.nationalbreastcancer.org), most people may be aware of the disease, but many forget to take steps to have a plan to detect the cancer in its early stages and encourage others to do the same.
