A traffic stop Saturday led to the arrest of a Neosho man who is implicated in an earlier gas drive off.
Jesse Lesley, 25, was stopped by a Neosho police officer after police were dispatched to Kum & Go at 10:07 a.m. for the report of a motorist taking off without paying for $73 in fuel. Lesley was taken into custody on a McDonald County warrant, and Chief David Kennedy indicated that he was found in possession of a pipe and was charged with a count of possession of a controlled substance. Police are reviewing video to determine if Lesley is the suspect in the theft of fuel from the 16140 Missouri Highway 59 store.
