Fifteen years ago, Les Rainwater opened Family Market in Neosho.
On Tuesday, June 27, Rainwater was outside of his grocery store serving up a free lunch to the customers.
"I just appreciate all of the people who supported us, we did it at 10 years and gave away 250 lunches and we are planning on 400 today," he said. "I appreciate all of the people who supported us over the years and small town and my way of giving back."
The lunch consisted of a pulled pork sandwich, chips and water or soda pop.
Rainwater was very appreciative of the response that he has received since he opened the business.
"We have been very, very blessed with the growth, the employees, the customers, I owe it all to them. They have done a great job here and I appreciate them," he said. "I would like to thank our community, we live in a wonderful place, we all come together and support each other and that is the main thing."
