Residents are advised that the FEMA Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) at the Lampo Center, 500 E. Spring St., Neosho, will close today at 7 p.m.
Today is the final day for residents to visit the center and speak face to face with a FEMA representative.
Flood affected residents can still get assistance after the DRC closes by calling the FEMA Helpline at 1-800-621-3362 or by visiting the FEMA website online. Smart Phone users may also download a FEMA application.
Assistance through the FEMA helpline or website allows individuals to register, to make a change of address, phone number or other pertinent information, seek information about FEMA home inspections, get answers to questions, ask questions about any FEMA letters or correspondence received, and learn how to appeal a FEMA decision if necessary.
FEMA urges those already in the process have their nine-digit FEMA registration number and their home zip code available when they call or make contact.
