Restoring Hope Counseling Center, Neosho, received a donation From Bands Against Bullying in the amount of $4,079.00, to aid in their ongoing work to help those suffering from depression, suicidal thoughts, families who are coping with loss from suicide and those having trouble with severe bullying.
Bands Against Bullying sponsored a rock festival event on June 10 at West 60 Cycle, Neosho.  Bands Against Bullying is a non-profit group focused on bullying awareness and suicide prevention.  The event was sponsored by Bikers Against Bullies, Tulsa , CYCLOPS Brotherhood and many business in the Neosho area.  Darkside Music Group, Rock Rage Radio, and Honesty Brutality hosted the event.  Ten bands performed at the event.  All proceeds were donated to Restoring Hope Counseling Center, at 339 West Coler Street in Neosho.
Restoring Hope Counseling Center was created in the fall of 2013 by Chris and Lisa Parks. They felt led to create a counseling center that puts the client's needs first.  Restoring Hope Counseling Center offers counseling for children, teens, and adults. Staff therapists specialize in trauma based counseling, anxiety/depression, marital problems, family issues, as well as various mental health disorders.
