Doors open at 4 p.m. on Tuesday for the 15th annual Festival of Wreaths fundraiser event at Crowder College in Neosho.
The event is sponsored by the Crowder College Foundation and is the largest fundraising event of the year for the organization.
Money raised goes to fund scholarships for students with limited financial means in the nine county area served by Crowder College.
Last year, the event raised a total of $125,000 for scholarships which included $23,000 from Donate Now. Twenty-three individuals, families, and businesses each donated $1,000 for the total.
This year, both a silent and live auction will take place. The silent auction bidding begins when doors open at 4 p.m.
Dinner will be served from 5-6:30 p.m. with the live auction to follow dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Auction items range from the traditional wreaths that have been part of the event since 2003 but also include vacation packages, a wide variety of merchandise, celebrity autographed memorabilia, gift cards, and more.
Last year, more than 400 guests attended the event.
Tuesday night's event will take place in the Elsie Plaster Community Center on the Crowder College campus in Neosho.
