The European-style Olde World Christmas Market will be held on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 1 and 2, at Grace Episcopal Church.

The European-style Olde World Christmas Market will be held on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 1 and 2, at Grace Episcopal Church.
The church is located at the corner of Howard and Chestnut in Carthage, Missouri. This event includes a Friday evening Market Opening Gala and a full Christmas Market on Saturday.
Entry to the Saturday Market is free and the public is encouraged to attend. Advance tickets are required for the Market Opening Gala and may be obtained at the church or by calling 417-358-4631.
• Market Opening Gala: Friday, December 1, 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. This event which requires advance purchase of tickets for $8 or $10 at the door, will give shoppers an opportunity to view and buy wonderful gifts while enjoying complimentary beverages, hors d’oeuvres and door prizes.
• Christmas Market: Saturday, December 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. – free entry and public encouraged to attend. Shoppers will have an opportunity to do some Christmas shopping with over 25 vendors who will feature quality gift items created by talented artists and artisans.
These items will include original art, sculptures, handmade jewelry, leather goods, artisanal soaps, stained glass, baked and canned goods, alpaca fiber products, folk art and much more. Olde World Christmas Characters will be on hand to greet young and young at heart.
A brat lunch including two sides and a drink for $7 will be served by the Men of Grace from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
