The famous show - featured on the History Channel - maybe coming to the area soon.
"It’s a show about two 'antique Pickers,' Mike and Frank, traveling across the country, looking for unique antique collections and the interesting stories behind them," said Evan Linden, with American Pickers. "The guys are hoping to come to the area in May. The guys are truly passionate about finding rare and unique items that they've never seen before. People should contact us if they have a substantial collection or accumulation with items that tell a story about a time, a place, and the people who once used them."
Linden said Mike and Frank are from Iowa, so Missouri is literally in their backyard.
"Since they cut their teeth picking across the Midwest, they know the area well," he said. "The last time they picked Missouri on the show was in the spring of 2016.  They are looking forward to coming back. Every region has it's own unique history, so Mike and Frank enjoy visiting as many areas of the country as they can. Missouri has such a rich history as the gateway to the west, it's always an interesting place to pick."
Evan said they can only pick people if they reach out to them.
"Please help us find the hidden gems that will showcase your region," he added. "We don’t pick open antique stores, thrift shops, or similar business that are open to the public. Our guys are looking for private collections and lifetime/ multi-generational accumulations that are not in the public eye."
