Martinez said, "I've always been a big fan of musicals.  When I heard the show was going to be The Little Mermaid, I knew I had to be a part of it.  Ursula is definitely a challenging role, but I am blessed to have the opportunity to be the villain.  I'd like to tell people to never be scared of opportunities.  Go for it!  Don't worry about failing.  Failing is not even trying."
McLaughlin plays King Triton.
"I like it because they get to see their favorite characters in real life," McLaughlin said. "I also hope that the performance inspires kids to do theatre."
