Both the Neosho Swimming Pool and the Neosho Kids Wading Pool will open this weekend for the first time this season.

Both the Neosho Swimming Pool and the Neosho Kids Wading Pool will open this weekend for the first time this season.
The swimming pool opens at 12:30 p.m. Saturday and closes at 6:30 p.m. Sunday hours will be 12:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. and on Memorial Day from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. The pool will be closed from Tuesday, May 29 until Saturday, June 2.
On June 2, regular summer hours will take effect and will be from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 12:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sundays.
Admission to the Neosho pool is free for ages 5 and under, $2 for ages 6-17 and $3.00 for ages 18 and up. Individual pool passes good for the season may be purchased at the Neosho City Hall for $55.00 each. Family passes for a family of 4 can also be purchased for $120.00. For each additional family member over 4 there is an additional $15.00 charge per person.  The pool may also be rented for private pool parties for $50 for a two-hour time period for up to 50 guests. Additional guests will be an additional $2.00 each. Lifeguards are provided and there is a concession stand available.
The kids wading pool located in Big Spring Park will also open on Saturday. The pool is for kids aged 8 and under. Wading pool hours are from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. every day. Admission to the wading pool is free but adult supervision is required for all swimmers/waders at the park.
Special family swim nights and some late night swims are also planned for later this summer.
The Neosho Swimming Pool is located on Fairground Road, adjacent to the Neosho School District Headquarters and the wading pool is located in Big Spring Park, downtown Neosho.
