Crowder Industries, Inc. celebrated a milestone on Friday in honor of the company’s 40th anniversary.
Founded in 1969 as the Crowder Sheltered Workshop, the company has grown from nine employees to more than 130.
The celebration included a company picnic, games and prizes, anniversary cake and a tribute to employee Eddie Glore. Glore started with the company on the first day of work in 1969.

He also expressed his gratitude for all the support and business which has been supplied over the years by industries in the Crowder area which has allowed the company to operate and provide employment for many people over the past 40 years.
