Crowder debaters win state title at Evangel

The newly formed Crowder College debate program continued its competitive season this past weekend as they competed in the “Missouri Association of Forensics Activities" Speech and Debate tournament and Missouri Championships, held on the Evangel University campus in Springfield.

20 Neosho students move to state history day level

Page: Board may hire assistant superintendent

It seems the Neosho R-5 Board of Education may have changed its mind concerning the position of assistant superintendent of business and finance. Dr. Richard Page, superintendent of the Neosho R-5 School District, told the Neosho Daily News Saturday that the school board will address an administrative position during a regularly scheduled board meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at Neosho Middle School. A budget work session for the school board will begin at 6 p.m. Monday.

NHS Speech and Debate squad places first in nation in accumulated rounds

The Neosho High School Speech and Debate squad finished first in the nation in accumulated rounds and won the prestigious Bruno E. Jacob Award at the National Forensic League National Speech and Debate tournament in Kansas City.
