During the Tuesday Granby City Council meeting, council members decided to hold a work session on Thursday for a couple of items.
One of the items for the work session dealt with street repair lists.
“The street repair list — the month prior, we had conversation where all of the city council members were to go around and take a look at the streets, write down little notes where what needs to be repaired,” said Granby mayor pro-tem Carol Sparnicht. “They wrote down bad points, bad spots and got together to compare our lists, make sure that we had an accurate list…. Some of our streets are in pretty bad shape, so we need to get a move on with that.”
Sparnicht noted that no action was taken during the work session.
“We are going to decide, this was just a work session, ‘hey let’s just think about it kind of thing,’ and I think we are going to make a decision this next council meeting.”
The next council meeting will be held on June 22.
