Police arrest youths in fairgrounds theft

Through follow up investigation, the Neosho Police Department has identified three juveniles who were involved in burglary and property damage at the 4-H building located at the Newton County Fairgrounds last week.  

Two of the three juveniles have been taken into custody, and have been turned over to the Newton County Juvenile Office. The third suspect remains at large, and is expected to be arrested within the next few days. All three juveniles are age 15, two of which reside in the area of the fairground.

After the two local juveniles were taken into custody, two BB guns taken in the burglary of the 4-H Club were recovered. The two boys taken into custody admitted to causing all the damage with the help of the third juvenile.
