An Anderson man suffered moderate injuries when his small truck went off the side of a McDonald County roadway and overturned Tuesday evening.

Eric N. Dailey, 45, was taken to Joplin’s Freeman West Hospital for treatment.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crash happened at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday on Missouri Highway 43, nine miles north of Anderson. A patrol report said a northbound 1998 Ford Ranger truck driven by Dailey ran off of the side of the road, struck a fence and overturned.

Dailey was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, a patrol report noted.
