The city of Lanagan has opened a collection point for donations for victims of Sunday’s tornado in Joplin, according to City Clerk Monica Blue.

Items being collected include denture cream and cases, contact solution and cases, sippy cups, deodorant, toothbrushes and paste, hair ties, toddler snacks (like the little Gerber bites), women’s personals, bedding, eye wash, undergarments (men, women, children), diapers, towels, adult small clothes (men’s and women’s).

The city is not accepting donations of bottled water, as relief workers on the scene say there are enough supplies presently.
