In a 4-3 vote, the Neosho R-5 Board of Education agreed last week to renew the three-year contract of Dr. Richard Page, superintendent of schools.
The vote came in a closed session of the Neosho R-5 school board, held after last Monday’s regular meeting. Voting to renew the contract, were Lynn Otey; Chris Parks, vice president; and board members Caroline Perigo and Tim Lewis. Voting against contract renewal were Cheryl Hawkins, Brett Day and Mike Stauffer.
Page has been superintendent of the Neosho school district since 2004. He previously served as assistant superintendent of business and finance.
