Single-truck accident traps driver

A semi truck driver was pinned when his vehicle skidded off the road and rolled over just outside the Neosho Airport on Cockrell Road shortly before noon on Tuesday.

Neosho fire, ambulance and police personnel responded to the scene and were able to extricate the driver. The trailer's load of field corn spilled across a nearby field.

Heavy winds were present at the time of the accident, but no official cause of the accident has been released.
